The Devotion LMG is a special Legendary light machine gun that uses File:Experimental Ammo.svg Experimental Ammo. It has a unique "spin-up" mechanic: the longer the Devotion is fired continuously, the faster its fire rate will become, up to a cap.

As a care package weapon, it can only be found in Care Packages, and cannot be fitted with foreign attachments or ammo. It comes pre-equipped with 162 backup ammo, a 2x HCOG "Bruiser" as a scope, and a level 4 barrel stabilizer.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• 2× headshot multiplier.
• One of the strongest weapons in the game.
• Very fast firing rate after ramping up.
• High magazine capacity.
• Uses its own exclusive experimental ammo which does not require inventory space to hold.

Cons

• Uses exclusive experimental ammo, of which only 162 spare rounds are available per Devotion, and more cannot be acquired outside of finding another Devotion and replacing it.
• Rather slow reload speed.
• High recoil.
• Outside of special modes and looting death boxes, Care Packages are the only way to acquire this weapon.
• 1× headshot multiplier at 64+ meters.

February 04, 2020 Patch

• Weapon removed from loot pool - now available only as a crate weapon.
  • Mag size increased from 44 to 54.
  • Comes pre-equipped with a 2x HCOG "Bruiser" and a level 4 barrel stabilizer.
  • Starting RPM increased to mimic a built-in Turbocharger.

January 14, 2020 Patch

• Removed Extended Energy Mag - mag size is now 44
