Defunct IMC bunker. Excavated by Syndicate. Gear cache for game-makers.
A closed loot bunker.

Loot Bunkers are a map feature added to Kings Canyon in Season 5.svg Season 5. There are five scattered across the map, but only four of them can be opened.

Each of the four openable loot bunkers has two hatches: one large hatch that can only be opened from the outside and one small hatch that only be opened from the inside. Within the loot bunkers are Terminal Stations with a charge tower and a fixed Legendary item (either a Level 4 gear or a fully kitted weapon) that rotates each season.

Crypto has a special interaction with three of the four loot bunkers. At the end of the hallway, on the opposite wall of the panel used to open the small hatch, there is a vent. If Crypto uses his drone to go into the vent, the drone will reach a room with several monitors; the drone can interact with the monitors to play a message from Mila Alexander, explaining what happened to her after "Forever Family".

— Crypto on the bunker he nicknamed "GO-SAENG".

Mila's Message, 1/3

T. It's Mi. I'm using the drone's encryption protocol. Only you can hear me. They... whoever they are... they came to my place. I got away. But, they caught up with me. I thought they were going to kill me. I thought... I thought they killed you.

Mila's Message, 2/3

If Crypto uses his drone to go up the vent, he will find the following message from Mila:

They threw me in a room. They questioned me. Wanted to know about the algorithm. How we found it. Then they wanted to know about you. You got away... and really pissed them off. I didn't tell them anything. So, they said they were going to move me to a secure location.

Terminal Station L-19[edit | edit source]

Waterfall. Confirmed. Same user sig found in WE systems.\nQW.
— Crypto on the bunker he nicknamed "ON-DA".

Mila's Message, 3/3

If Crypto uses his drone to go up the vent, he will find the following message from Mila:

They didn't know the doors had overrides. That's how I got away. They also didn't know about the backdoors into their security archive... I'm safe. I'm laying low. But you gotta know - They're working for one guy. I don't know his name, but, he's watching you... from the inside. Trust me... and be careful. Yong Won-Han Ga-Johk.

After hearing this, Crypto will sigh from relief and say "Forever family."

The Lost Tomb[edit | edit source]

<ERR: DATA INACCESIBLE>
— Crypto on the bunker he marked as "???".

This bunker is located by Slum Lakes. It cannot be opened, except at the end of the Season 5.svg Season 5 quest, "The Broken Ghost" (which is no longer available).

After the Legends have assembled the artifact for the quest, Loba leads them to the bunker and it opens for them. The location is revealed to be The Lost Tomb with the subtitle A Secret Place. The bunker is unlike any of the others: it appears to still be in use and there is vegetation growing inside.

At the end, there is an active charge tower with a headless simulacrum body attached to it. The player completes the quest by attaching the artifact, Ash's head, on to the body and Ash is revived.

Gameplay footage of the finale of "The Broken Ghost" quest. The mission "Ashes to Ashes" begins at 13:30.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

The bunkers are marked in Crypto's Map Room.
  • Although the bunkers were added to Kings Canyon at the start of Season 5.svg Season 5, they could not be opened until the Lost Treasures Icon.svg Lost Treasures event. Despite this, Terminal Station F-85 was still accessible because it does not need a hatch in order to enter.
  • In Crypto's Map Room, the bunkers are given nicknames in Korean. They can be combined to form the Korean saying "Go-saeng kkeut-e nag-i on-da" (고생 끝에 낙이 온다), which translates to "At the end of hardship comes happiness."
