The Charge Rifle is a sniper rifle introduced in Season 3.svg Season 3 that takes Sniper Ammo.svg Sniper Ammo.

Lore[edit | edit source]

The Charge Rifle used in the Apex Games are manufactured by Vinson Dynamics. Notable changes from its Frontier War-era model is the smaller profile and more compact build.

Pros and Cons[edit | edit source]

Pros
  • Beam deals 3 damage in ticks quickly, maximum 45 dmg plus the 45 of the final shot.
  • Higher profile damage.
  • Longest range out of any weapon.
  • Has 100% accuracy in the air (Jump Pads, Ziplines, and Balloons) .
  • Has 0% leg shot damage reduction.
Cons
  • Single fire.
  • Low magazine capacity and no higher mag capacity.
  • Takes a while to charge up.
  • Beam can give away position.
  • Has damage falloff at 150-391+ meters

There are a total of 45 weapon skins for the Charge Rifle; 6 Legendary, 6 Epic, 17 Rare and 16 Common.
