The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify Administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.

Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:

  • This page is for reporting wiki issues. Please post discussions on the talk page.
  • Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
  • Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding {{delete|reason for deletion request}} to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion.
  • Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
  • Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.
  • For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center.

In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. If a user must be reported here, please use {{user}}, preferably as the topic subject/headline.

Current Issues[edit source]

Deleting deprecated weapon images[edit source]

As old weapon images have been replaced by new ones, those 19 images in Special:UnusedFiles, as well as File:Mozambique Shotgun.jpg and File:Mozambique.jpg can all be deleted. --ALWAYSFF(talk|Contribution) 08:53, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Files have been deleted. TheRunyx (talk) 19:48, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Interwiki prefix for the Titanfall Wiki[edit source]

Since the "see also" section in most weapon articles contain links to the Titanfall Wiki, I suggest adding an interwiki prefix for the wiki. --ALWAYSFF(talk|Contribution) 08:57, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Prefix "titanfall" has been added to the interwiki table. TheRunyx (talk) 16:22, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Not allowing me to edit the Volt SMG page[edit source]

I wanted to replace the turbo charger bit with it removed for the new season and add a new bit of text but it keeps failing, telling me inappropriate language.

New item rarities & tabber update[edit source]

There needs to be a new name and color for the red rarity from 'Level 5 Evo Shields' and 'Vault Keys', as well as an update to the tabber so it can deal with those. The Heirloom tag is enough for now, but it's not ideal, as for the name i'm not so sure... i was thinking something like 'Unique' but that can lead to some confusion.

The tabber can be easily expanded via source editing, Each tab is started with "<name of tab>=" and ended with a |-|, the content is between those two. As for the Heirloom tag, it would seem that the code refers to the rarity as "Special" but I think keeping it as "Heirloom" would be better since denoting it as "Special" might lead to confusion to those who don't know.

Thanks for the info, i don't use source editing much, but it good to know the option is there! But i still believe a new tag for red items should be added, since i don't think the color is exactly the same and since i think calling an in-game item a 'Heirloom' can cause even more confusion, i think 'Special' works fine for the time being, but a more in-depth discussion with the community could definitely bring good ideas in the future.

Both Heirlooms and Special-tier items pull from the same pool of shades of red - sometimes it uses the slightly orange-tinted red while other times it's harsh MS-Paint red. In practice we use the orangey one because the fully red text looks like a link to a missing page. Also, personally, I would just call an in-game item by its level. You never hear someone ping armor and say 'Body Shield here - Epic!'

Good point, i guess it will do then, maybe in the future the Apex team gives it an official name other than 'Level 5'.
