The 30-30 Repeater is a lever action rifle added in Season 8 that utilizes Heavy Rounds.

It has a unique charge mechanic allowing the weapon to do more damage (up to 35% more) by aiming down sights for longer without firing, or have faster fire-rate with lower damage per shot.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• Strong medium-range potential.
• Low recoil.
• Ability to reload single bullets mid-fight.
• Charged shots will deal up to 35% more damage than normal.
• Decently fast fire rate.
• Can open doors by shooting the handle.

Cons

• ADS-ing required for charged shots, which reduces the fire rate.
• Rather slow reload speed (less than 3 bullets/second).
• 1.75× headshot multiplier.
• At closer distances, threatened by shotguns/SMGs.
• At longer distances, the slow bullet traveling speed makes it harder to hit enemies.
• Low mag size, try finding an Extended Heavy Mag.

Patch notes

March 09, 2021 Patch

• Dropping and picking up the 30-30 will no longer cause it to be reloaded.
• Will now have spread deviation when ADS firing and jumping.

• Introduced.
• Added to the loot table of Fully Kitted Weapons for Season 8.

Trivia

• The name is a reference to the .30-30 Winchester cartridge used by the Winchester Model 1894 rifle, on which the gun's design is based.
• The gun is one of only two guns in the game to reload one bullet at a time, the other one being the Mastiff Shotgun.
• Fuse has a unique “spinning” animation when he picks up the gun; other legends will just chamber the bullet.
